Absolutely Outstanding – A Memorable Experience! We visited Le Charleville to celebrate a special birthday, and it was an unforgettable evening from start to finish. The ambiance is quaint and cozy, creating the perfect setting for a meaningful gathering. The service was exceptional—Catherine took amazing care of us with warmth and professionalism. We enjoyed a delicious four-course meal, and every dish was a masterpiece. I started with the mushroom ravioli, followed by a refreshing palate cleanser made with strawberry, lemon, and gin. The main course—lamb shank—was perfectly cooked and rich with flavor, and the white chocolate creme brulee was the perfect sweet finish. Every bite was a wow moment—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The use of fresh, local ingredients from Quebec and Canada really shines through in every dish. This was, without a doubt, one of the best meals I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Bravo to the team at Le Charleville—highly recommended!

The food was exquisite! We love everything from A-Z can’t wait to come back in September for the new menu options! & we had a surprise ‘cleanse your palette’ serving in between our entree & main course! VERY LOVELY. The place feels like home!!

I took my husband here for a surprise dinner for his birthday, it is now our #1 go to spot. The food is amazing. Atmosphere was romantic for two, calm and enjoyable for groups. Everything we ordered were phenomenal, they tickled our senses. The presentation, the scent and the taste are just out of this world. My braised deer ossobuco was tender and bursting with flavor even the exploding green peppers were a welcomed surprise , the creamy blue cheese snails and mushrooms were delightfully exquisite, this coming from someone who hates blue cheese. The raspberry coulis cheesecake, smooth and velvety. I've never had one like it. My husband enjoyed his medium rare bison flank, he was fascinated as to how did they cook it so perfectly from end to end. It was tender and full of flavor. He had the house-made foie gras, the taste of each component complimented each other in ways that made his taste buds dance. The carrot cake didn't last long in front of him, he loved it, the cream was heavenly. I had almost forgot to mention the lobster tail. It was an excellent addition to our meals. It was exquisitely tender, with succulent, buttery meat that melts in your mouth. Perfectly cooked and delicately seasoned, exploding with sweet, ocean-fresh flavor, enhanced by delicate seasoning. We always tasted each other's orders, I always give him the first bites of my food and I of his. That's how I'm able to describe his meal. Our server was super sweet and very polite, which made our experience so wonderful. The service was very well executed, front appetizer to dessert, they did not miss a beat. We didn't bring our own wine because we don't drink with every meal, but the trou Normand was a pleasant alcoholic palette cleanser. Le Charleville, you have ruined all other restaurants for us. While I would not consider us foodies we do really enjoy a good, well constructed and executed meal. Le Charleville delivers! With a menu that changes based on what is in season you are guaranteed to enjoy delicious fresh food. The four course meal is 100% worth the price and the trip. We sat on the terrace and while it was raining outside we were covered and toasty warm within the bounds of the covered space. Very excited to have found an excellent date night option so close to home. Looking forward to our next visit!

One of the best restaurants in the area. Bonus is it's a BYOB. Service is top notch A-1. Food is divine . The filet mignon is to die for. Everything that Chef Stephane makes is culinary perfection. Catherine leads her wait staff with the highest of customer service. It is recommended to make reservations especially on Friday and Saturday and during special holidays make them well in advance not to be disappointed as they are often booked with a full house as many now know this hidden jewel.

Catherine is always so friendly ! Even after no going for at least 1 year she remembered us like it was last week. She takes time to explain very well the specials and knows just when to come back for the order. Stephane is a great chef ! Already 4 years since he went from employee to owner and we are very happy he is doing so well. The quality of the food, the mix of flavours... just absolutely perfect and sublime !!! It won’t take us another to go back this time
